Join us on this 14 Day Tour of Cultural and Safari Experience as we explore 5 different regions in Ghana namely, Greater Accra, Eastern Region, Northern Region, Ashanti Region and Central Region.
Itinerary
We say "Akwaaba" (Welcome).
Your host will meet and assist you at the airport.
A transfer will be waiting to bring you to your hotel. Depending on the time your flight arrives, you will have a welcome lunch or dinner.
Meal: Lunch or Dinner
After breakfast in your hotel, you will be picked up by our Driver. In the company of your tour host, you will visit the Aburi Botanical Gardens in the Aburi mountains, Aburi Craft Market and a short hike through the Butterfly Sanctuary, an eco-tourism center. You will then be en-route to Kumasi where you will spend the night.

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, we will continue our journey to Tamale in the northern part of Ghana. Here, we will visit the Sagnarigu Chief Palace, the Central Mosque, National Cultural Center.

After breakfast in your hotel, our next destination will be Wulugu to visit the Unique Zayaa Mosque. We will then continue to Tongo, a place known for the Tengzug shrine. After this, we will proceed to visit the Greenhouse , where we will experience the community life and processing of shea butter. We will drive on to Bolgatanga and spend the night there.

We will embark on a morning drive to Paga and visit the crocodile pond. Then continue to Old Pikworo Slave Market to view the historic slave transit camp and relics of the slave trade. Next stop will be at the old Navrongo Catholic Cathedral Building, which is built out of mud bricks. Sirigu arts village, a scenic village known for its basketry, pottery, traditional architecture and wall paintings end the day. We will drive back to Bolgatanga to spend the night there.

This day takes us to Ghana’s largest wildlife refuge: Mole National Park provides the best wildlife experience in Ghana and was the first national park to be established in Ghana. It covers an area of 4,912 km². We will go on safari in the park, which is home to: elephants, buffalo’s, water hugs, leopards, hyena’s and many more.
We will take an afternoon ride in the canoe to view local wildlife.

We then drive to the Larabanga Mystery stone and the Mosque, the oldest Sudanese Mosque in West Africa built over 600 years ago using primitive tools and techniques and part of the UNESCO World Heritage site Continue to Kintampo and spend the night there.

We will journey to the beautiful Kintampo waterfalls, after which we will take a break to enjoy the natural environment. Next is Buabeng Frema Monkey Santuary located in Nkoranza. We will continue to Techiman for the night.

After breakfast we will leave to Kumasi. Our first stop will be at the Adinkra village in Ntonso where you can design your own printed cloth.The traditional adinkra is made from scratch locally and is known for its proverbial wisdom and symbols. From here we will continue to Adanwomase, a village known for its craft in kente weaving. We will end the day in Kumasi and settle in our hotel.

This morning will take us to the Manhyia Palace. Three Ashanti Kings used the building as their palace before it was converted into a museum in 1996. We will have a view of the historic site and visit the palace museum.
We will continue to The King Prempeh II Jubilee Museum, which houses some Ashanti ornaments, used back in the 16th century.
Encased within its own small museum, the Okomfo Anokye Sword Site is the spot where the ‘immovable’ Sword driven into the ground by Okomfo Anokye sits. We will end the day at the Cultural Center
After this historical day, you will have the rest of the day to yourself.

We will be en-route to Cape Coast in the Central Region. Our first stop will be the Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River. This the place where slaves had their last bath on African soil before being taken to the slave Castles of Elmina and Cape Coast along the coast.
We will continue to the the Elmina Castle. The castle was used to hold slaves before they were loaded unto ships to be sold in the Americas and The Carribbean.
We will spend the night in Cape Coast.In the evening, we will enjoy some entertainment by Ghanaian cultural dancers.

After your breakfast, we will visit Kakum National Park about 20 miles from Cape Coast. We shall walk on the Canopy bridge. This unique canopy trail sits at 130 feet (40 m) in the air and stretches between 7 trees, cross rivers and ravines. It covers a distance of 1,150 feet (350m).
Once we are done with the canopy adventure, we will proceed to Hans Cottage where we will build some sweet memories as we view the friendly crocodiles that are housed in it’s ponds. Take in the delightful and cosy environment and enjoy a meal at the on- water restaurant.
We will make our way back to Accra where you will be dropped at your hotel .

A visit to the Old Lighthouse in Jamestown. You will have a great view of the city and the busy and colorful fishing harbour. Walk through The Kwame Nkrumah Masoleum ,the W.E.B DuBois Center And Independence Square.
Finally, we will visit the Arts & Crafts Center where you can buy local art crafts and practice your negotiation skills.

This is your last day in Ghana. Depending on what time your flight leaves back home. You will have the day to yourself and we shall pick you from your hotel as your host sees you off at the airport.
